@David – depending on which lightbox effect you’re using.

We’re using Fancybox a lot with NextGEN. Look for the CSS id ‘fancybox-title-float-main’ and simply change the values of the color property to change the color and you can add the ‘font-size’ property to this ID as well to alter the font size.

If you’re using Tickbox which is bundled with the NextGEN plugin look for the CSS ID ‘TB_caption’ and add the color and font-size property.

Hi, nice work!

Do you know how to change the size and the colour of the title text that’s shown under the pup up image? Can´t figure this one out…

NextGen is nice but author failed to set size of imagebrowser, which displays HUGH with no means to change size. I’ve tried the css file and other methods found on the web to no avail. I’ve also use the resize feature in options. Just doesn’t work.

Cheers for the advice. Is there anyway the description can automatically take the information from the image title. It’s just that if i’m adding 100 images and I want the description to be the same as the title, can it not do it automatically?

Thanks for the info. NextGEN seems a very good web album. I noticed that in “Manage Album” page, I see a column “Select Album” on the right side with the album list that I don’t see in your image. How can I remove it?

To center the description which appears below the image browser, I had to add:
.ngg-imagebrowser-desc p {
text-align:center;
}
to this file: ngg_shadow2.css

I really enjoy your tutorials! :D I just started using NextGEN gallery for my department’s redesign but I’ve been unable to figure out how to center the descriptive text which is below the image browser. I know that if I put in tags on either side of the description, the resulting text will be centered, but I can’t find the CSS class in the files to do this automatically.

Would you have any insights into this?
